What Is GHS Revision 7?
The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) is an internationally recognized framework developed to standardize how chemical hazards are classified and communicated. GHS Revision 7 reflects updates to hazard classification criteria and improvements to how safety information is presented in Safety Data Sheets and labels.
"This final rule will increase worker protections and reduce the incidences of chemical-related occupational illnesses and injuries by further improving the information on the labels and safety data sheets for hazardous chemicals."1
