OxyChem does not support the sale of its calcium chloride products into animal feed application in the United States, due to the disparity between the level of resources required to administer state-by-state licensing, registration, reporting and labeling requirements as compared to the correspondingly small volume of calcium chloride sales into this market.

OxyChem has determined that food grade calcium chloride products meet Canadian regulatory requirements for use in the manufacture of animal feeds. Therefore, OxyChem does support sales of these products in Canada for the manufacture of animal feed.
